Mine

This was a technical assignment in which we had to recreate an album cover as accurately as possible, based on the original.

The first image you see is the original cover, and the second is my version. My goal was to study the visual elements of the original — such as composition, lighting, and styling — and then translate them into my own photograph while maintaining as much similarity as possible.

By attempting to closely replicate the album cover, I gained insight into the technical challenges of matching another photographer’s visual language, including how lighting and positioning affect the overall impact of an image.
