About Rainbow kid Riri
Photography, for me, is not a way of capturing reality, but a means to investigate, reconstruct, and question perception.
I consider the camera both a tool and a mediator, allowing me to experiment with distortion, shifts, and context. In this way, the camera operates between reality and imagination.
Lines of inquiry such as perception and the psychological space of the viewer run throughout my practice. I am interested in how inner worlds—thoughts, emotions, and fragments of the subconscious—can be visually expressed, and how these subjective experiences can challenge fixed perceptions of reality.
I invite the viewer to question what they see and how they interpret it. By blurring the line between the real and the constructed, I aim to create a moment of hesitation: a space in which multiple realities can coexist.
