Golden hour

“Golden Hour” is a technical experiment focused on working with natural light.

The golden hour refers to the period shortly after sunrise and before sunset, when the sun is low and produces a warm, soft light. During this project, I explored how this specific lighting condition affects the atmosphere of an image, in my opinion giving it a more dreamy and gentle appearance.

Instead of approaching the assignment with a fixed concept, I worked through observation and returned to certain locations multiple times to refine the images. From this process, I selected two photographs that represent different moments within the series.

The project led me to focus more on the qualities of light and how they influence the perception of an image.
