Thomas Gosset

Thomas Gosset is a French photographer whose work is characterized by a raw and experimental visual language. In Primitive Acids, he explores the physicality of the photographic process, often using analogue techniques, chemical interventions, and unconventional materials. The images feel tactile and imperfect, where the process itself becomes visible within the final work.

What draws me to his work is the rawness of his visual language. His images feel direct, physical, and unpolished, which resonates with my interest in photography as a medium that does not have to be clean or controlled. His work encourages me to embrace imperfection and to see the process as an essential part of the image.
